Generative AI and Universal Design for Learning: From Tool to Pedagogical Practice
Welcome to the Flash Course “Generative AI and Universal Design for Learning: From Tool to Pedagogical Practice”!This training session invites participants to explore the potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) as a tool to support professional development and the creation of inclusive learning experiences, strategies and educational resources, guided by the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Through practical, contextualised scenarios, participants will explore ways to use GenAI to anticipate learning barriers and diversify the means of engagement, representation, action and expression. In this interactive session, participants will have the opportunity to apply these principles to real situations from their own teaching practice, critically evaluate the suggestions generated by GenAI, and reflect on the importance of pedagogical intentionality, critical thinking and adapting approaches to the educational context. Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.
