Welcome to the Flash Course Rethinking Human Rights in Science Teacher Education!
This course invites participants to critically reflect on the role of Human Rights in science teacher education, through an interdisciplinary lens that brings together natural and social sciences. Rather than treating Human Rights as an add-on, the course presents them as a central axis in building pedagogical practices that are socially just, environmentally conscious, and committed to critical citizenship.

What You Will Learn
• How the concept of "human" is shaped through different scientific and cultural frameworks
• The educational implications of the Anthropocene and the climate crisis

• Strategies for integrating Human Rights as a transversal dimension in science teacher education
• Pathways toward more ethical, critical, and socially engaged pedagogical practices
