Camila Leporace

Camila Leporace is a researcher in artificial intelligence in education and a science communicator. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Computing at UNICAMP, Brazil, and one of the researchers who make up the AI Observatory at Columbia University in Brazil. She completed her PhD in Education Sciences at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and PUC-Rio, Brazil. She is the author of the book Algoritmosfera - A cognição humana e a inteligência artificial (Algorithmosphere - Human cognition and artificial intelligence), published in 2024. She is interested in cognition, AI and learning, machine learning and its impact on education, critical literacy in AI, and creative uses of AI in education and communication.
