Tiago Gonçalves

Education, digital technologies, citizenship, and democratic participation are my passion. Playing an active role in empowering people, helping them acquire knowledge, and preparing them for a digital society are some of my goals. On the other hand, I want to help young people play an active role in society, participating democratically and in an informed manner. I have been working in the field of e-learning since 2007, gaining experience in all stages of distance learning content production, from initial contact with the client, through the creation of storyboards (based on instructional design theories), to the development of multimedia content using authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, eXe, CourseLab), to the final stage of implementing content on LMS platforms (Moodle or SAP LMS), which includes managing and installing the platforms themselves. The different companies I have worked for have allowed me to join teams of different sizes, in different environments (national and international), and to manage projects in a wide range of areas, from health and cybersecurity to topics related to the European Union. As I consider learning to be a fundamental factor in professional and personal development, I regularly invest in training and am currently in the final year of a master's degree in Education and Digital Technologies. Alongside my professional life, I am actively involved in social and political associations and projects. I enjoy reading, cinema and music. I like jazz.
