The Centre for Pedagogical Innovation at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto has published the schedule of Flash Courses for April to June 2026, reinforcing its commitment to promoting pedagogical innovation and the continuous professional development of the academic community.
This training cycle comprises 12 online sessions, led by 15 trainers from various higher education institutions, with a particular focus on P.PORTO schools and INOV-NORTE partners. The sessions take place between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm, combining knowledge-sharing with opportunities for discussion and interaction.
The programme covers a diverse range of current topics, including artificial intelligence in higher education, universal design for learning, inclusive assessment strategies, emotional sustainability in teaching, and pedagogical approaches in multilingual contexts. This diversity reflects the CIP at P.PORTO’s commitment to creating training opportunities aligned with the emerging challenges of higher education.
The Flash Courses serve as a space for pedagogical experimentation and reflection, promoting the dissemination of good practices and the strengthening of a collaborative, critical learning community focused on the continuous improvement of educational practices.
It is worth noting that 10 of the 12 sessions will feature interpretation into Portuguese Sign Language (LGP), underlining the CIP’s commitment to inclusion and the wider participation of the community.
