P.PORTO’s Centre for Pedagogical Innovation (CIP) took part in the event “GIP – Engineering Education 2030: Pathways to Pedagogical Innovation”, held at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).
As part of the panel dedicated to pedagogical innovation, Ricardo Queirós presented Gamibot, a tool developed as part of the INOV-NORTE project that combines artificial intelligence and gamification to support students throughout the learning process.
During the presentation, the platform’s main features were demonstrated, including the automatic creation of questionnaires, the generation of content summaries, the answering of queries and personalised monitoring of students’ progress. The solution aims to promote more autonomous, interactive learning that is tailored to the individual needs of each user.
In his speech, the lecturer also reflected on the growing impact of artificial intelligence on education, emphasising the importance of integrating these technologies in a critical and pedagogical manner, putting them at the service of learning and the improvement of the educational experience.
CIP’s participation in this meeting reinforces P.PORTO’s commitment to pedagogical innovation, the digital transformation of higher education and the development of solutions that enhance academic success and the quality of learning experiences.
